This book could provide the method of introducing North Carolina to members of my reading group who haven't grown up with furniture factories, hosiery mills, Baptist churches, and secrets that we realize were always lurking in the shadows.
I see myself in this book for meny years I live away. lost contact with family. Then a call I made turn my life upside down. Here I was back in NC
